Ouran manga chapter 60

Well, after days of traveling, I finally found the time to sit down and read the latest Ouran Manga chapter! KYAAAAA!!!! Baka baka baka Tono!!! Baka! I can’t believe him! Okay so major major major spoiler! (So don’t read this until you’ve read the manga chapter)

Okay, so the chapter opened with Tamaki dreaming about his mother. In the dream, he was asking her if his grandmother hated him and mommy Sophie-ann replied that nobody can hate Tamaki. But Tamaki realized that when in love, a person can end up sad.

Meanwhile, Haruhi arrived at her classmate’s skiing lodge only to be yet again, shocked by the ways of the rich. It was a scene reminiscent of the medical examination episode of the anime. There were ski instructors everywhere and snow carriages. They offered to help Haruhi but she declined, stating that she’ll wait for the twins to teach her.

In another part of the ski lodge, Hikaru was worrying about what he said to their idiot of a king (CHAPTER 59: He confessed to Tamaki that he loves Haruhi and forbade the blond type to come to the skiing trip) Anyway, Hikaru was upset, thinking that he had done something bad and ruined their family relationship In the end, Kaoru told him that he was touched that Hikaru thought that way because it can only mean that he likes Tono (As a senpai. There were some talk about Tamaki realizing his feeling for Haruhi when Hikaru did what he did, but it ended nowhere)  The twins went to find Haruhi. They found her sleeping in the snow. (Don’t you just love our apathetic heroine? She got tired of waiting and decided to sleep in snow. Reminded me of the girl in Bisco Hatori’s other manga “Millennium years of snow”)

In BAKA TONO’S MINI 2nd MANSION, the other Host Club members were gathered and Huni-senpai asked Tamaki why they can’t go visit Haruhi in the resort, Tamaki made some lame excuse and Kyouya, being the Shadow King that he is, (suki!) immediately connected it with Hikaru. (Yet again, the blond idiot went into his fatherly mode)

Hikaru and Haruhi ended up sharing a room (ooooh! Next chapter!) In the end, Kyouya (suki!), Mori and Huni went to the ski lodge and talked with Kaoru, Hikaru heard them discuss that maybe Tamaki might be so hang up on the “familial thing that he will never be able to figure out his feelings for Haruhi”

So sad.

THOUGHTS:

That wasn’t all that happened of course, but you need to read the manga rather that read spoilers. I am personally rooting for Tamaki because no matter where you look at it, he is the best person for Haruhi. He is as active as haruhi is passive and the both understand each other too well. Hikaru is too emotional and attached to Kaoru that I just can’t picture them together in any scenario. (Of course, a part of me wishes that she end up with Kyouya but I guess with the way things are going, it’s not going to happen)

Funny isn’t it? I keep getting the feeling that the Host Club’s going to break up any minute now.

I love Tamaki; I hope she ends up with him.
